Privacy Policy

Roadly is an on-device practical philosophy experience. The current version:

• Does not require an account.
• Does not contain advertising.
• Does not use analytics or tracking tools.
• Does not use an online AI service.
• Does not connect to a Smallsoft-operated backend.
• Does not track users across apps or websites.
• Does not sell personal information.

Smallsoft does not collect personal information or user-generated content through the Roadly app.

Roadly uses Apple-provided local storage to remember:

• Your selected language.
• Whether sound is enabled.
• The version of the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use you acknowledged.
• Your exploration history.

Exploration history contains only:

• Journey identifiers.
• Identifiers of choices you have viewed.
• Journey completion counts.
• The most recent completion date.
• Your latest journey path.

This information is used only to preserve your progress and present relevant content within the app. Roadly does not transmit it to Smallsoft or any server operated by Smallsoft.

Depending on your device and backup settings, locally stored information may be included in device backups managed by Apple. Smallsoft does not operate or have access to those backups.

Reflections you enter during a journey exist only in the app’s memory for the current session. This allows Roadly to show your reflection back to you at the end of that journey.

Roadly does not:

• Add reflection text to your exploration history.
• Upload it to a server.
• Write it to analytics or diagnostic logs.
• Analyse, score, or use it to build a user profile.
• Use it to train an AI system.

Reflection text disappears when you return to the home screen, restart the journey, or the app process ends.

Roadly uses Apple StoreKit to provide the one-time, non-consumable Roadly Full Access purchase and to restore previous purchases.

The app receives product information and verified purchase entitlement from Apple so that it can determine whether paid Thought Clues should be unlocked.

Smallsoft does not receive or store:

• Your payment card number.
• Your complete payment information.
• Your Apple Account password.

Apple processes purchases, refunds, purchase history, Family Sharing where applicable, and related account information under Apple’s own policies.

Roadly does not send purchase entitlement information to a Smallsoft-operated server and does not use purchase activity for advertising, analytics, or profiling.

Sharing is always initiated by you and uses Apple’s system share sheet.

By default, Roadly’s sharing draft does not include your choices or reflections. These may be added only when you explicitly choose to include them and confirm the final content.

After you select a sharing destination, the information is handled by that service under its own privacy policy. Roadly does not know or record which sharing destination you select.

Roadly does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

The app relies on Apple system services for in-app purchases, purchase restoration, local storage, device backups enabled by the user, and the system share sheet. Information handled directly by Apple is subject to Apple’s own privacy policies and account settings.

Roadly retains language, sound, legal acknowledgement, and exploration-history settings locally until you change or delete them.

You can:

• Turn sound off at any time.
• Change the app language.
• Clear your exploration history from the Roadly home screen.
• Choose not to use sharing.
• Delete all locally stored Roadly information by deleting the app from your device.

Because Smallsoft does not maintain an account or store your reflections or exploration history on its servers, there is no corresponding server-side personal-data account to access or delete.

Roadly is not designed to collect personal information from children. The app does not require registration and does not contain advertising, behavioural tracking, or direct communication between users.

Anyone who has not reached the age at which they may independently consent where they live should use Roadly only with the permission and guidance of a parent or guardian.

If Roadly’s information-handling practices change materially, this policy will be updated. Where appropriate, the app will increase its legal-policy version and ask users to acknowledge the updated policy.

The effective and last-updated date at the top of this page will also be revised.
