Before Contacting Support
- Confirm that macOS is up to date for your device.
- Confirm that SmallClaw is updated through your original distribution channel: Direct from Smallsoft or the Mac App Store.
- Restart SmallClaw and, if needed, restart your Mac.
- Review the first-run legal, privacy, local data, and permission prompts if they appear after an update.
- Check that required macOS permissions are enabled for the feature you are using.
- Remove private keys, secrets, and sensitive personal data from screenshots or logs before sending them.
Privacy and Data Handling
SmallClaw is designed as a local-first macOS app. App settings, credentials, workflow records, logs, permissions, and integration settings may be stored locally on your Mac. When you configure external model providers or connected services, relevant requests may be sent to the providers or services you choose.
